Delectable dim sum, floating islands, and a one-of-a-kind skyline are just some of Hong Kong’s unique features. Get an eyeful of traditional Chinese architecture in Ngong Ping village, then take the tram to the tippity-top of Victoria Peak for unparalleled views. The rocks and gentle hills of Nan Lian Garden will bring you inner peace, as will a calming cup of tea in a Stanley café. Become one with everything at the Chi Lin Nunnery, a serene Buddhist complex.

This experience is really enjoyable for all ages. The musicians are young and very talented. The singers are excellent as was the host. Subtitles are screened throughout the evening and the building itself is well worth having a look at. No photos or filming allowed. Dim sum and tea are served during the performance.

Terrible Baby is a destination venue within the emerging Jordan neighborhood for HK’s uninhibited, burgeoning, and bold creative scene.
I met here with a group of friends for drinks and we had a great time. The cocktails were delicious, staff was incredibly friendly and the atmosphere retro and cozy. They have the best outside patio I’ve been to in Hong Kong. This has turned into one of my regular bars to visit and would highly recommend it to anyone, well worth the quick MTR trip from Hong Kong Island.

They run a “tasting menu” mix and match performance in 2 hours in “Tea House”. It’s ideal for those who are curious about Chinese Opera but do not want to commit to a long stuffy performance in traditional theatre setting. Their subtitles are very good, I can easily totally follow the opera. They give a short introduction of music origin and musical instruments too! It’s a delightful place, their pricing is reasonable

Every time when I look at this building I am amazed that it was built without a single window - and it faces one of the most iconic sky lines in the world. To me that is an opportunity missed - but I am sure the architect had a good reason. Everything is happening inside and it is worth checking out what's going on: music, opera, dance, film festivals, sometimes there are four or five shows per week, there are international shows and local culture (with English subtitles). There is a concert hall, a Grand Theatre and a small er theatre. There are also free performances - it's worth checking their website.

This spectacular multimedia show, combining lights, music and narration involves 19 key buildings on Hong Kong Island. The facades of skyscrapers are decked out in lights that, at the flick of a switch, glow in a myriad of colours depicting Hong Kong’s colourful and bustling atmosphere.
This multimedia show has set the harbour ablaze every night since 2004, A new edition of the show started in 1 Dec 2017 (last night), with even more exciting elements and a new soundtrack performed by the HK Philharmonic Orchestra. I saw it last night at the harbourfront near HK Cultural Centre in TST, so can listen to the show's music too. Must see, perfect show! https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowTopic-g294217-i1496-k11053891-2017_NEW_version_Harbour_Light_show_A_Symphony_of_Lights-Hong_Kong.html
