Each is fully equipped to make your stay with us feel like your "home away from home." The cabins feature a private bathroom, flat screen TV, eat-in kitchenette, barbeque grill and picnic table. The lodge also provides rods and reels, hip waders, nets and bonkers for those who wish to take advantage of World class fishing on our private Kenai River lot! We can be your "one-stop-shop" for booking fishing trips, sight-seeing and fly-out trips, and more! Relax at the fire pit in the evenings to share "fish tales" while the kids play in our safe, well-equipped playground area. Open seasonally from May 15 to Sept 15.
The hosts were extremely friendly, the cabins were very cute and comfortable, and the location ideal for trips to the Kasilof, Kenai, and Cooper Landing. Easy access off the road and close to the river - ideal for a number of trips in the area and quick trips into town. Beds were comfortable and the setting was nice - great option for a family or for groups of friends in the various cabins.

Do you dream of staying in a beautiful cabin in Alaska where the best fishing of your life is waiting right out your front door? The Alaska Eagle Head Resort is located on the banks of the Kenai River with unbeatable salmon and rainbow trout fishing. We are centrally located on the middle section of the river - where you will be fishing in private. If fishing isn't your thing - or members of your party aren't as excited about reeling in monstrous fish as you are - there are many outdoor and sightseeing activities within easy walking and driving distance from our location. Seward and Homer are an easy and scenic 90 minutes away by road, and the Anchorage airport is 2.5 hours. We have 4 rustic cabins that accommodate a varying number of guests - we will be happy to help you figure out which cabin will best meet your needs. We also have 3 private rooms in our central cabin for those fishermen who are not wanting to book an entire lodge. Each cabin includes - Wireless Internet access - Satellite TV - laundry room - BBQ grills - Free Ice - Fish cleaning and packaging area - Freezer space - Access to our beautiful, central Guest Pavilion
This is a great place to stay. Right on the Kenai River and everything well maintained. Jerry is the property manager and was easy to contact and easy to work with us. The cabin was neat and nicely supplied with furnishing. Our cabin had one shower and no privacy so probably would not be good for couples but they have other options. This made for a great Alaskan adventure and I would rate it 5 stars!

Our Kenai Wildlife Cabin is a beautiful log vacation rental, including full kitchen and bath, living area, 2 bedrooms, deck, and more. We are centrally located on the beautiful Kenai Peninsula, overlooking the pristine Kenai National Wildlife Refuge. Situated between Seward and Homer and just outside of Sterling/Soldotna; we are conveniently located near many of the activities Alaska’s playground has to offer, promising an up close and personal Alaskan experience!
Had a great time in Alaska! Lisa and Randy were very accommodating hosts, it was great to sit around the fire pit area and talk about the adventures of the day. Kenai Cabins are wonderfully located for day trips to Seward, Homer, The Kenai Wildlife Refuge or just hanging around Sterling, Soldotna, Kenai and the beautiful river there. There is plenty of access to fishing, hiking or just sightseeing (galore I might add). What a great area. You get it all. Mountains, rivers, the ocean with beaches, and wildlife! Watch out for Moose! You will more than likely come across one. The cabins are very comfortable. They even had movies for us to watch during rest periods. Close to all the amenities! We had a great stay here.

My teen boys & I stayed 3 nights. The log cabin had so many artistic touches and details to keep finding - stunning log cabin experience. I enjoyed being tucked back in the woods and we saw moose hanging around. We loved their sweet dogs and the cedar wood burning hot tub was a treat! I booked direct with them and after a nice chat on the phone they were gracious enough to let us have a log cabin first 2 nights and move to their “stick” cabin the 3rd, otherwise we would have missed out on the log cabin experience since it was booked. The stick cabin was great as well though since it had the full kitchen and chest freezer for fish. I wish I had known earlier that Rose could have processed my fish though because I ended up doing a fish exchange at a processor in town when I got back from our excursion since we were flying home the next day. We enjoyed chatting with the hosts and other guests and using the outdoor kitchen. If you’d rather keep to yourself, that’d be hard.

Wonderful and hospitable lodge we stayed at while using adjacent Anglers lodge for our fishing and fifth wheel who stayed at Anglers....John Sanborn was caretaker and met all of our needs ....the place was spotless and immaculate...1 point deducted due to poor water pressure....

Windsong is an experience that is difficult to find elsewhere. Located on Upper Twin Lake in the heart of the Lake Clark National Park it provides a warm dry beautiful setting for experiencing this incredible wilderness. The owner Gary is on site and a fountain of information about the local area and wildlife. He is great in that he is present at times when you can use his counsel but also distant enough to provide a sense of solitude. The guest cabins are well equipped with comfortable beds and a complete kitchen, comfortable chairs and table. The lake-side swing is a place one can spend hours. The cabin has both a canoe and a motorboat for use for access to hiking trails and fishing spots. As we age we find that this type of wilderness experience is appreciated and unique.

We showed up and couldn't find anyone to help us. I called Frenchy (who was out of the country) and she wasn't sure about our reservation. She gave me the code for one of the places and it was a mess. It either still had occupants or just had not been cleaned. She gave me a code to the second place and it was also a mess. No idea when her cleaner would be there. At least when I told her we would skip staying there, she was ok with that.
