We had a wonderful experience renting a kayak and a SUP from the Pro Sup Shop in Marina del Rey. Exploring the waterways was such fun and we spotted seals swimming nearby, too! Fun way to spend the day and picnic at Mother's Beach in a socially-distant way.

This beautiful 10-acre park is one of the crown jewels of Marina del Rey, jutting out into the Marina's main channel. Offering what may be the best vista point in the area, this is a great spot for walking, picnicking, and gazing out at the deep blue water, boats and Marina. Open daily. Located at the western end of Mindanao Way.
The lights and decorations were beautiful. Came for the boat parade. They had a firework show and so many fun things to do. Snow princesses (not any cheap type either) snow and sleds, free glow sticks, and great friendly people. Love this place!

We had a late flight on the evening so I looked for somewhere to go before the airport and Marina Del Ray seemed like the perfect place. We are so glad we stopped by, there was a mini music festival one when we arrived so the vile was really cool, we sat down with an ice cream and then decided to walk along the harbour. This was a real highlight for us because we must have stood for at least an hour watching the seals play around in the water and hang around all the fisherman,, it was amazing to see and such a highlight of our LA visit. If every we come back to LA, we have agreed that we would rather stay around here. It's a great place, we love it.
