WA you do not disappoint. Blessed is how we feel to have spent 7 nights here in the Ningaloo area. We took the advice to 'wanderoutyonder' and we are so glad we chose Coral Bay as our base. This place is beautiful. It was an epic road trip from Perth but worth every km! It is pristine, the beach is spectacular and safe. The marine life is abundant, if you could say there was a heaven here on earth this could be the place. Come here, leave only footprints and take hundreds of photos. Thank you!

The Coral Bay Airport Transfer was there waiting for us at LEA when we landed (even though the flight from PER was delayed), Phil was a careful and conscientious driver making polite conversation for the trip to Coral Bay, better still not sure if it was the radio or Phil's own playlist in the background but the songs were identical to those I have on my own playlist which made the journey even more chilled out listening to the likes of Jim Morrison and the Doors, the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac . On arrival at Coral Bay we said our goodbyes as we only ordered a one way trip, our next journey was from the small airstrip at Coral Bay (YCOY), the day before we were due to leave, I thought I'd see how to get to the air strip as we were assured it was only a short walk from Coral Bay centre, however I hadn't anticipated the terrain we needed to cross and with several 23kg large suitcases etc. I needed some transport, I got hold of Phil and although last minute he said he would come up in the bus and get me to the air strip on time for the flight. True to his word, he came to the door of our villa, loaded up all the luggage and took me the short drive to YCOY which saved me a great deal of effort and stress. So many thanks Phil et al, and hope we can visit again, you guys have the most amazing place with great community spirit and a fantastic ethos towards conservation.

Spectacular, safe snorkelling right at the ocean edge!! What a beautiful little piece of paradise this is - even when it is jam packed with travellers!! A great place for families with a perfectly safe beach for the little ones, plenty of colourful marine life easily accessible for everyone, awesome fishing and a great little bakery. It's a YES from me!! Can't wait for next year's return trip!

This is a protected sanctuary for the sharks, meaning when the tide is high and the wind low you can sit on the dunes or stand on the beach and see the baby sharks in their natural habitat. It’s important to stay out of the water to protect the sharks by zero impact to their natural habits as well as making sure they don’t have close encounters with their biggest predator - humans. There’s a plaque that explains it all so best to have a read and respect the distance that the sharks need to thrive best. Sitting on the dunes and watching the sharks swim comfortably about is so relaxing and such a privilege. On the walk you’ll spot some tata lizards and some spotted lagoon rays too. Keep an eye out for snakes if you’re walking near the dunes.
