We have gathered personal enthusiasm over the Slovenian beauties, sport spirit, guiding knowledge and experiences in tour organization in a small company and we want to share all that with people who come to Slovenia. Our aim is to show the hidden spots of this small European country to everybody who chooses to travel with us.

The largest natural lake in Slovenia with endless opportunities for outdoor activities. A fantastic starting point for various activities in the Julian Alps. Guest of Tourism Bohinj partner providers can buy BOHINJ MOBILITY CARD to enjoy free public transport, free parking, free admissions and a lot of attractive discounts in Bohinj and elsewhere. PLEASE NOTE: parking in Bohinj is permitted only on designated parking areas (marked as official car parks) - this way you avoid any distress by getting a parking ticket.
Very picturesque lake so still - great pics with sun out- got bus from Bled to Ribcev Lazto - walked to Ukanc - choice there to get cable car (20euro) to MT Vogel or walk on to see Slap Savica Waterfall. Not much snow so walked to waterfall - bit disappointing as not much water flow despite being early Feb - a long walk but at least there was a bar at falls - walked back on other side of lake the views not as good - care to be taken on footpath - lots of fallen trees - 22km walk but worth it

Outdoor agency next to the lake Bohinj, where you can hire a canoe, kayak, bike, stand up paddle board... or take a guided trip down the river or experience canyoning in local canyon. In the winter we are situated on mtn. Vogel where we offer ski and snowboard school. At our place you can also rent ski and snowboard equipment.

Vogel is one of the most beautiful and popular ski resorts in the winter, and the most popular high mountain centre in other seasons. Our slogan “Vogel. Like a Fairy Tale.” is the perfect description of our resort in every season of the year, and we plan to increase our profile with it and give our visitors this fairy-tale feeling. We are determined to seize the opportunities offered by our location in the heart of the Triglav National Park (TNP). Vogel cable car takes you to 1535 metres above sea level throughout the year (except during the maintenance periods). In this way viewpoints high in the mountains are easily accessible and also make an excellent starting point for hikers. You can choose from single or return cable car tickets. The cable car can transfer up to 950 people per hour. The Orlove glave quad chairlift also operates during the summer season (mid-June to end of September) and provides a single or a return ride in the pleasantly refreshing summer climate. It stops at the top of Orlove glave with a paragliding take-off point close by.
Arrived with a tour group so parking was not a problem, however, even in October, the car park was over full. There is a nice souvenir shop, with clean toilets at the base of the cable car. The journey to the ski centre provides stunning views of the lake, valley, and majestic mountains. At the top you will find restaurants as well as the hotel. We did not use the hotel so cannot comment however the upstairs dining area was available for us and service and food were very good.

There is a small admission charge to view this gem of a church. The lady on the desk was very welcoming and helpful. The church is covered in wall paintings, several illustrating the life of St John.

It is about half an hour hike to the waterfalls. You can park free at the restaurant. Steep steps along the mountains. There is a nominal entrance fee, payable at a small shop, after about a five minute walk. Worth the hike. It will not disappoint.

We spent more than an hour in this small museum. There are a lot of texts and pictures, but if you go through them thoroughly, you'll get a really good picture about the history and practices of cheesemaking in a region famous for it.

The four brave men from Bohinj were the first to climb to the summit of Mount Triglav as early as on 26 August 1778. Encouraged by Baron Žiga Zois, a central figure of Slovenian enlightenment, this adventure was undertaken by Lovrenc Willomitzer (a doctor from Stara Fužina), hunter Štefan Rožič, miner Matija Kos from Jereka, and Luka Korošec from Koprivnik. This achievement has been commemorated by the monument in Ribčev Laz. It was made by Stojan Batič and erected at the 200th anniversary of the first ascent of Mount Triglav.
