Join the local ghosts in a walk through the historic district of Fredericksburg, Virginia, a city that claims to be one of the most haunted locales in the United States. With a long history dating back to pre-Colonial times, and a legacy of slavery and war, it is no wonder that so many unhappy phantoms wander the streets. Visit the Fredericksburg & Spotsylvania National Military Park, marking the spot of four bloody Civil War battles or Ferry Farm, the boyhood home of George Washington.

A relaxed atmosphere with a beautiful 30 foot bar, 9 taps, games, snacks, sodas, and delicious beers. Stop in for a pint and take home a growler or bottle of hand-crafted flag-ship and seasonal beers.
Adventure Brewing is a cool place to chill and try some brews. It's a small space with food trucks, a few arcade games, and both indoor and outdoor seating. They regularly host live music or trivia nights. The staff is very knowledgeable about all of the steps in the brewing process and the different types of beers. Plus, one of the owners is usually around to talk shop. Definitely a great place to stop in and have a pint.

Established in 2017, Strangeways Brewing’s second location at 350 Lansdowne Road in Fredericksburg, Virginia utilizes a 10-barrel brewhouse in its one-of-a-kind 10,100 square-foot brewery. Oh Strangeways…you may be 300+ miles away from us Long Islanders, but you can’t keep us away!!! We found this amazing brewery, by chance, in Summer 2017. On our way back from a vacation, we randomly booked a hotel in Fredericksburg, found Strangeways, and we have been hooked ever since. We just visited a couple of weeks ago for our 3rd time and it was just as enjoyable as the first. This brewery is amazing and has become a favorite of both my husband and myself. A quick Uber ride from our hotel and we are all set to enjoy some great beers. This brewery has 36+ beers on tap at all times and everything is listed in categories according to beer type. You can create customized flight trays, which we do every visit to try new additions to the tap list. There is ample indoor and outdoor seating and both areas are enjoyable. They have had food trucks on site along with some entertainment while we visited. The staff is friendly and generally attentive, depending on how busy the bar gets. “Lucky Charms” is my absolute favorite beer, a Berliner Weisse with I believe marshmallow syrup added. This year they brewed an Imperial Lucky Charms…simply a higher ABV version of the original and it was so delicious that we had to take some cans back home!!! We seriously have traveled 300+ miles multiple times to visit, so that tells you how great this place is. I recommend it to anyone visiting the area. You won’t be disappointed!!!

Stumbled across 6B&G while on vacation. We love disc golf and this place has a fun 9 hole par 2 course on property so we gave it a try. Our server Brooke was just great!! Couldn"t be more happy with service. Very friendly and knowledgeable about the many beers on tap. She gave us lots of info on the area. We could play the course and bring our drinks with us which was cool. By the time we were finished she had another round coming out for us! Ordered some appetizers which were great. Played quite a few rounds and had great time. Thank you Brooke for great day!!

Great beer and atmosphere to cool off on a Sunday afternoon! Beer tenders were very knowledgeable and friendly. Truly a grand craft beer and sour experience.
