Curracloe Beach is a regular holder of the Blue Flag Beach status. The dunes are currently the subject of an active conservation policy by Wexford County Council ensuring that this marvellous amenity and the plant and wildlife it contains, will be preserved for future generations. A nature trail runs through the dunes and continues for 5 km to Raven Point, passing through the beautiful peninsula which constitutes Raven Nature Reserve.
So happy I stopped here. Lovely beach with a great atmosphere, and for all the movie fans steven Spielbergs saving private Ryan was filmed here

A stunning beach in an out of the way place. Parking may be an issue during the high season but it was very manageable in September.

Wexford blessed with beaches. This is a gem. Parking can be difficult in the summer but once you get sorted and head for a jaunt all you worries disappear. Just a lovely place to go for a stroll - 2 separate beaches and so plenty to explore.

Visited here with the lovely Ursula and family members. Smashing beach with car parking on the sand! Very busy with kite surfers but it adds to the atmosphere. The sand is perfect and there are public toilets that are very well maintained.
