My partner and I visited here last night (Saturday) after being reccomended the Gin Lounge by the staff at Sachi’s. All I can say is - WOW! The interior is amazing, gorgeous cosy set up with well spaced tables to comply with all things “Covid”. When we entered we were greeted by a lady who I think might be one of the owners. She was super friendly and welcoming and explained us how they work as we hadn’t been in before. We were just going in for one but stayed until closing time (the 10pm govt curfew feels far too early!). The gins were amazing and my partner had rums. We were both loving the music and everyone was singing. I had the best night I’ve had in ages so thank you Gin Lounge ❤️

The Burley Tap is a small, friendly and cosy tap bar in the village of Burley in Wharfedale near Ilkley, located on the main roundabout. We have a delicious Thursday - Sunday 'Tapas style’ sharing board menu along with home made pies. Compliment that with a wine supplied by Martinez Wines and your perfect evening is complete.
Love this bar - what it lacks in size it more than makes up for in friendly staff, good wine and great company. Recently also started a tapas menu. I was there for the opening night and looking forward to more as soon as possible. Really fantastic addition to a thriving village!

The Flying Duck is a traditional Yorkshire Dales real ale and fine wine bar situated in Ilkley town centre. Unique in the area, the Flying Duck incorporates its own brewing facilities with the new Wharfedale Brewery located in a barn at the rear of the pub. The building dates back to 1709 and retains many of its original features including stone and oak wooden floors, beamed ceilings, exposed stone walls and real open fires. Between the pub and the brewery is a raised decked beer garden with an impressive viewing gallery. The Flying Duck serves nine cask real ales, real ciders, continental lagers, bottle beers from around the world and an extensive range of fine wines, whiskies and spirits.
I can’t believe that we have never tried this pub before, what an amazing place, it is full of history and character, yet it feels very welcoming and cosy. We had the sausage and mash which was delicious, according to my husband the locally brewed beer he had was fantastic with plenty of further choice displayed on the bar. Finally a place is only as good as the people who work there and we were served by two very polite and efficient gentlemen. We shall be back and would certainly recommend a visit.

Your first class drinks and dining carriage awaits!
We booked a table outside as we were from different households. The new outdoor, purpose built gazebos, with heaters are great for sitting outside to enjoy a drink in the colder weather. Covid regulations all observed with temperature checks if venturing inside to use facilities. A big mention to Clementine, our server who was most attentive, wore a mask at all times & couldn't have been more helpful. Keep up the good work Ticket Office, a great venue where you can enjoy an Al Fresco drink in the winter, whilst socially distancing.
