To fully enjoy a glass of good wine in one of the more stunning panoramic viewpoint of the old medieval city of carcassonne, the best place for photographers in a friendly atmosphère!
We tried this place after bumping into a french lady when we were looking at another restaurant on the main street. She recommended we try here for the views and the pizza. Well we were not disappointed. It is a great location, overlooking the Cite and although we went in January it was really busy with a great ambiance and lots of locals enjoying a craft beer or wine. I can only imagine how lovely it would be in warmer months to sit outside on the terrace with the views in front of you. We had a bottle of wine recommended by the host which was just great and a pizza each, they were really fresh and tasty. My only constructive criticism would be that it would be nice if there was an alternative of some sort, even a charchuterie or a cheese board. If there was we would have visited for food on a second night. We couldn't really face pizza on two occasions. But we did visit again just for a bottle of wine to get another look at the views before retiring home for dinner. Such a hidden gem
