A micropub specialising in all that is beer. With 4 ever changing cask beers, craft beer by the bottle and traditional ciders on tap. We also have a small selection of quality wine, soft drinks and if course, pies! We don't have...music, tv, alcopopsor spirits, as per the original micropub ethos
We came here on recommendation of YHA staff and locals- ticked away off Bridge street, cosy friendly place with small range of craft beers. Highly recommended

Local bar with a good selection of beers and lagers, music most weekends, pool and darts and BT Sports. Dogs welcome as long as they keep the owners under control and the same for children !!
Visited several times in the week I stayed at the nearby caravan site. The staff and locals could not be more welcoming. Nice cosy pub with warm friendly atmosphere. Drinks are cheap and we hope to revisit soon.

The Auction House is a unique music venue and bar located in Berwick-upon-Tweed. Berwick is located 60 miles South of Edinburgh and 60 Miles North of Newcastle.. What can I say, it's a great stop of point with some truly unique features and loads of history. Enough gibberish.. Let's Talk About The Auction House.. The Auction House is full of character and is truly unique with that, and music every weekend. What more could you ask for?.. Well, there is a large outdoor decked area for those finer days and play area (directly beside decking) so you can keep a close eye on those kids while drinking your pint or wine. Now onto the best bit.. The BARR... I know not much needs to be said here but Oo-Well. We are continuously adding NEW drinks to our bar menu from a Capri-Sun to OJ Tiki Fire and Aftershock. Come during the day and enjoy a drink in our decoupaged lounge / sit outside in the beer garden or if that doesn't interest you come at night and enjoy Great Local Music..

Popped down to Berwick from Edinburgh for some pints in the closest town we're allowed! First couple of pubs we passed were closed, then we spotted The Red Lion. Colourful exterior, with flags and bunting, welcomed us into this good sized bar with three different sections. We were asked whether we had a booking but they happily accommodated us despite not phoning ahead. The staff were ever so friendly and got a good banter with us. Covid guidelines were all followed and enforced, ensuring that people could feel safe whilst still able to enjoy a pint. Just make sure you have a separate booking / table for each different household and follow the rules. They've got a big screen for the football, a jukebox packed with all genres and tastes of music, and a pool table through the back. Lager selection was exactly what you want from a traditional boozer, with Tennents, Carling and Stella. Pretty sure I saw a Guinness tap and they do wee bottles of wine too. Since it's only a 40 minute trip on the train, this will be my new local until the govt dictates otherwise. We'll be back tomorrow ????.
