Candolim is just north of the Mandovi river and is home to Goa's most popular and well known resort and holiday village. As such, it's not a typical backpackers destination. The Candolim beach itself does not have much to offer when compared to its livelier neighbor, Calangute. However, if sunbathing and take the occasional dip is your thing then Candolim will offer you the perfect experience. One of the more interesting sights from Candolim beach is the bulk carrier ""River Princess"" which ran aground 100 metres offshore. While at the Candolim beach do not miss out the Aguada Fort. The fort was built by the Portuguese way back in 1912 for defense against the Dutch and the Maratha invaders. Candolim is aslo a very popular evening destination as it has a number of very good resteraunts and night clubs.

Reviewed By Munz1123I stayed for 5 nights with my family and to tell you the truth it was beyond expectation. The staff was very kind and helpful and the food was superb. The complete ambience of the place was very relaxing and i would totally stay here again in the future.

We were particulary impressed with how the hotel staff anticipated our needs. Especially Mr. Niraj, who's is very kind and supportive in every aspects. We really enjoy staying here. Will tell our friends and families to stay there whenever they visit Goa.. Keep it up guys..

Reviewed By hipsterrahulI will give zero star for this hotel. Photographs shown on their websites and actual room conditions are the worst. They are claiming that it's 3 star hotel but it's not worth for 1 star evem. My client has checked out from this property now. Hotel staff is rude and denying for refund for unused nights. Highly disappointed.

Worst Hotel & Staff.
Reviewed By jbTrvBooked for 04 nights online. The std check in time was given 12:00 noon online. We arrived at 11am and was asked to wait as the room was occupied and guest requested for late check out. We were assured that room would be given by 12:15 or 12:30 max. We came back at 1pm & was informed that guest checked out just now and will take more time. Upon my shouting, he gave me another room which was reserved for a group arriving after 2 days. They requested me to shift later but I denied... This entire incident the GM - Mr Vinod was sitting in the cabin and chilling and watching through the glass window. He smokes in the restaurant space available outside, and hardly does anything for hotel. The only good thing about this hotel is Room Size & 24 hrs Hot Water. They never clean the room unless asked for and reminded twice or thrice. There were cockroaches and ants in our room. They never change the bedsheet, just tuck the same one and leave unless asked & forced to change.. Only 02 Breakfast Options - 01 Veg (Puri bhajji or Chole Bhature) & 01 Non Veg - Boiled egg or Fried Egg. Location is good as it's bang on the road side. But Candolim main beach entry point is more than a kilometer away. They have a shortcut entry to beach directly opposite the hotel. Price wise it's good but it's worth to spend 500 INR more and stay in better property nearby. Owner should srsly look into the maintenance of hotel. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone.

Reviewed By HarryHSRstayed at this property for five nights earlier this month, nice location in Candolim with lot of restaurants and shopping options, supermarkets around. this property is currently being managed by OYO hotels, room was pretty spacious with a balcony overlooking the main street n shops. AC was in good condition n decent bathroom with basic toiletries and towels that were changed periodically. Brekafast was arranged in the restaurant with was repetitive with only 2 options - puri bhaji & phoa on one day; Parantha n upma on the 2nd day. Toast with jam, cornflakes and tea coffee was available. Omelettes were not part of the buffet which most of the other hotels in Goa include ... Overall the stay was pretty good, staff was co-operative especially the staff at the reception desk were always smiling and quite helpful. look forward to come back to Goa ... :)
