Situated on coastal farmland in Wallington, east of Geelong and just over an hour from Melbourne on the Bellarine Peninsula, is Oakdene’s boutique vineyard, cellar door, restaurant, café and gardens. With award winning premium cool climate wines, a highly acclaimed restaurant and café serving exquisitely prepared food and three themed accommodation rooms, the unique property is an experience you shouldn't miss. Oakdene’s hand-crafted wines are elegant, reflecting varietal character and complexity. Dedication to excellence in the vineyard and winery produce great results with wines being awarded medals and trophies in major wine shows and a consistent 5-star rating in the Halliday Wine Companion over many years. The cellar door is manned by a small team of locals who have developed an intimate understanding of the region and a deep knowledge of the wines. The team are keen to talk you through the range of award-winning wines with the cellar door open 10am -7pm every day.
We went to Oakdene on a rainy Sunday the day of the Geelong wine event. We met Brett who was awesome and fun. He told us his "older brother" Steve would be at the Geelong event so we made sure to say hi. Great blokes and great wine.

After an unfortunate mix up with a booking, the staff at scotchmans more than made up for the computer error. As always the wine and food were amazing, as were the views. kids loved the pasta & we both enjoyed the lamb, which went perfectly with the scotchmans Pinot noir. Special thanks to Ruth who made sure we were looked after ❤️

Our beautiful established winery and vineyard is on the Bellarine in Victoria. The winemaking philosophy of minimalist intervention from our low yielding vineyard encourages high natural and sugar levels, resulting in well structured, elegant wines. We specialise in Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Shiraz plus many more! All wines are made and bottled on site in our full production winery. Our Cellardoor is open for Wine Tastings and Sales Thursday to Sunday from 11am (with extended trading days during holiday periods)
This winery is a short stroll from the Big 4 holiday park making it very easy for us to roll down with the kids and friends for a tasting, followed by a glass of wine and a cheese platter on the deck while the kids played. There are interesting sculptures for the kids to look at and a large flat area where they kicked a ball and threw a frisbee. The staff are very welcoming and the wines very good, especially the rose, pinot noir and shiraz.

Visiting the Bellarine Peninsula, Curlewis Wines is a must. Superior wines, a great wine flight and a lively rustic venue. You can even play your own back ground music from the selection of vintage vinyl records. A great Weekend afternoon visit with very personalised and friendly service.

Cellar door, restaurant and winery in a beautifully restored 1870s bluestone building on the banks of the Barwon River. The building is part of the Fyansford Paper Mill arts precinct. Enjoy tasting premium wines, buy a glass or two to enjoy with a delicious lunch, or buy a bottle (or few) to drink later. We have been awarded the Best Value Winery in Australia (James Halliday Wine Companion 2019), the Gourmet Traveller Wine Magazine 2018 & 2019 Star Cellar Door, and a National Trust Heritage Award for the renovation of the nationally-listed historic building.
We booked a late lunch over the Easter weekend and prepaid for a 5-course, set tasting menu (I believe pre-payment isn’t usually required, however it was required during the Easter weekend). We arrived 15 minutes early for our allocated seating time, and were subsequently seated at a bar table. Whilst waiting for our table, we were recommended the Provenance Sparkling Shiraz which was one of the best sparkling shirazes we've tasted in a long time. Much lighter than a pinot noir, soft and sparkling with a beautiful bouquet....recommend trying if you enjoy a sparkling Shiraz, or even if you don’t! The set menu we enjoyed over lunch consisted of freshly baked bread served with cultured butter, confit duck, slow cooked lamb shoulder, kangaroo tartare on a nori crisp (not necessarily in that order), including a shaved salad with apple and finished with an alternative drop of chocolate, buttermilk icecream, and a eucalyptus meringue, berries and elderflower cream. I can't express enough how beautifully made and plated all courses were. This was a taste sensation, incredibly appetising, surprisingly quite filing, and all dietary requirements were met without any issues at all. We did encounter some ‘hiccups’ (pardon the pun), prior to lunch and at the end of lunch, and without going into details, they were rectified. Despite that, we would definitely return to Provenance Winery; it is without a doubt, outstanding in our eyes.

Take in the Bellarine Peninsula's most picturesque views across Swan Bay to Queenscliff and relax amongst landscaped gardens, overlooking the vines. Wander through the stunning vegetable gardens that supply fresh produce to Basils Cafe or sit by the firepit with a glass of wine over winter. Live Music Sunday Sessions are held every Sunday from September to April, 12.30pm-3.30pm. Plenty of room for the kids to play and explore. Visit the llamas or play in the sandpit. Dog friendly, please advise when booking.
Make sure you book ahead for a meal at Basil's Farm. We had an outside table on a sunny day, under the fig tree overlooking Swan Bay. We can highly recommend the cheese platter and $40 the shared platter that came with freshly toasted bread. Try the local wines in the bar- they were fabulous. The 2 platters plus a bowl of their fat chips was enough for lunch for 4 people and 2 small children. If you forget to book, you'll get a rug to sit on the lawn. Friendly and efficient service. Dogs are welcome.
