Unless poor communication and inconsideration are your thing when paying for an experience, then Tastemakers Africa is not the company for you. I booked a "December in Ghana" trip with Tastemakers Africa, which was supposed to be filled with various cultural experiences, but the entire trip was completely disorganized and there was a serious lack of communication by trip organizers. Being promised a better experience due to a lesson learned by the CEO of Tastemakers Africa I decided to give the company another chance. To my dismay I was seriously disappointed to learn the poor communication and disorganization was still a major attribute of Tastemakers Africa. Although this company obviously hasn't learned their lesson in conducting good business and customer service (evidenced by repeated poor business behavior/practices), I certainly learned my lesson. Take it from me, the headache that comes with booking with Tastemakers is not worth it.
