This is my 3rd time here in less than a year. Each time is uniquely special. I've come here for a romantic getaway with my wife as well as a family getaway with friends. The beach is amazing and the accommodations are clean and spacious. We love visiting Long Island which is the birthplace of my father. The island has beautiful views and warm and friendly people. I would recommend Long Island Bahamas and Harbor Breeze Resort to singles, couples, families, professionals, young, old. civic, religious and social small groups. There is something for everyone.

TAKE A MOMENT TO EXHALE. Just a 15-minute flight from the capital of Nassau, Bahamas lies an idyllic crescent beach on Davis Creek, Andros Bahamas. There you would find Dream Villas, Bahamas. All the villas are located on the beach, equipped with a full kitchen, living room, wifi and a restaurant on site! This is the vacation place where all your worries will fade away!
I stayed for a week at “dream villas “in one of their efficiencies, during a bone fishing trip onAndros. The room was large, comfortable and very clean. It was a very pleasant stay. The Manager, hard working Sandra, was friendly, professional, polite, and very helpful with all my needs and requests. Some of the other staff , Dario and Leandria were also very helpful and friendly. It was a very “Bahamian”experience… and I will be happy to book next year s fishing trip at the same hotel.

Six waterfront rooms with restaurant on premises. Boat dock for fishing. 3 blocks from airport (free pick up). Self help kitchen. Property in town.
It was a terrible decision I made to book this place. The rooms are made of concrete floors with boarded windows, the AC didn't work, and the smell was awful. The price was the same as a beachside bungalow just down the way from me. Needless to say, I had to abandon my first night's money that I'd already paid and escaped to the bungalow down the way to stay there. The owner of this place lives in California, and does not care for the welfare of his guests.

While I didn't stay at Sammy T's, I did stay on the same beach and the resort as it is today is not as it is reflected in the photos. The pool is filled in. At the time I was there (March 2020) the restaurant had been closed for several years. There were no guests staying at the hotel. The property is set on a beautiful beach. There were beach chairs stored under the walkway to the beach and palapas on the beach that were in disrepair.

We rented two villas for two nights before our Boy Scout sailing adventure began. We received personal service and met some amazing people who were staying there. The family we met had been coming there for many years staying in the same villa. The owner let them use a motor boat as needed to explore and take in to town for dining. It's not fancy, but what an incredible spot. I was there with 2 adults and 6 Scouts. I will return with my family for a week. It is a sure bet. I saw the review on the bugs.....they were bad at the water's edge at night. Bring bug spray- it is worth it. We went in town and rented snorkel gear upon arriving and dropped it off when we left. We had a blast snorkeling for hours. Swim to the reef. It is a must.

We were a family of 5 staying for 5 days. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay in Island seaside suites. There are some 5 pointers and some 1 pointers in the location. The location is just perfect if you are looking for a quite relaxing vacation. Hidden behind lush vegetation and in comfortable distance from stores and other points of interests on the Island. The veranda is looking out over the sea with breathtaking views and there is a pathway leading 50 yards down to chrystal clear water. The beach can be accessed through either swimming or walking (depending on the tide) about 50-100 yards. We rented the lower floor while the upper had no guests so that added to the tranquility. The owner, Al, is a very kind and helpful man who gave good tips on what to do and see on the island. On the minus side the house left quite to wish for when it comes to cleanliness and equipment. Overall it did not seemed to have been properly cleaned for some time and grease and dust where present in most areas. Some of the kitchen equipment where old and worn and not so nice to use for cooking. Batteries for 2/3 AC remotes where out and toilet- and kitchen paper where not lasting more than 2 days. Furnitures and interior are not of the latest fashion but that might have been ok if the rest of the house would have been fresh. We also wished that the house would come with some kind of recreational equipment like snorkling gear, kayak, fishing rods or other but nothing like that existed. To summarize, we were very happy all together but the inside of the house needs a facelift. If we return to Eleuthera we would probably look for something else since we have the feeling that we could have a little more value for money.
