Sometimes it can be a challenge to find activities that multiple generations can enjoy together. Our family field trip to Fox Wire Alpaca Farm offered a perfect excursion for our group, aged 14 to 87. Who knew that there was so much to learn about alpacas and the two llamas who serve as their guardians and protectors! It was absolutely fascinating. We enjoyed the stories shared by our knowledgeable tour guide "Tee" and the photo opportunities with these interesting animals. We also enjoyed meeting the miniature horse and donkeys, a retired race horse, dwarf goats and pot-bellied pigs. There was minimal walking/standing required so this tour is perfect for a wide range of physical abilities. We managed to schedule on a very mild December day which added to our enjoyment. The only negative is that it is a long tour (3+ hours) with just one restroom break.

I come here primarily to fish. The restrooms are always clean. I get there before the store opens most of the time but when I have dealt with them the people are always friendly. The fishing pier is nice and the boat dock is great. I have only been fishing here a couple of years and am still trying to figure out where the fish are but I use to do a lot of river fishing so reservoirs are a new thing for me. The reservoir is really nice and has some nice coves. If the fish aren't biting I just like to ride around in my boat just to relax. Over all a really nice place to visit and relax.

Just played with my son. This course is awesome. Such a challenging course with blind shots and elevation changes. Mike Strantz is a genius. Great value. Live in PA and I will come back.
