Beautiful Bay Trail

Reviewed By BenOlsson - Campbell River, Canada

The Beautiful Bay Trail at Bere Point Regional Park is really good. It is a good trail that starts relatively flat and easy and gradually gets more challenging the further a person goes. The trail needs some upkeep and maintenance, but if you don’t mind the extra challenge, go for it! We love staying in the campground and make sure to visit every summer. It’s a fantastic area to see Humpback, Orca whales, and other sea wildlife from shore.

Our family enjoyed the Sointula Museum. It is well run by friendly volunteers. The history and wide array of unique items is impressive for a small museum. We will definitely go again!

Rauhala Heritage Farm is a privately owned historic site on Malcolm Island. Rauhala, meaning 'Place of Peace." is an original Finnish homestead from the early settlers. The site is a living museum, frozen in time. Left untouched for half a century, hidden away behind walls of forest, ocean and a rocky bluff. We offer historic Eco tours, a private campsite and Event Venue.
