About30 years ago I visited this place with my family but it has change for good in everyway The entrance has a for of a huge wall. It has parking and a lot of information. There is a small church where you can pray and make your donations which are for the maintenance and activities of the church Theyhave a miracle room where you can see wheelchairs, crutches wedding dresses as part of different miracles occurred in there. At the very entrace there is a huge Virgen del Rosario del Pozo Very impressive At the back there are some other virgins statues too The place us very beautiful calm and spiritual We went about 4:00pm and the Santuary was for us alone. It was wednesday A Gentleman named Orlando Zaragoza who is the person in charge if the Santuary asked us if we have taken water fromthe well. We answer No because we did not bring any bottles with us to fill. To our surprice he brought us a bottle and we followed him to the ORIGINAL PLACE where the Holy Virgin appears. And the Original well It it covered with ironbars to protect the area and he opened it for us. There is a small hole in the floor where the water comes out like a well. Nobody touches the water. He just took it with a huge soup spoon and put it in the bottle. He gave us some water paper glasses so we can drink of the water there and ask for our own purpuses miracle. The water is very clean and of course not clorated just filtered by the rocks It was beautiful experience and we thanks a lot Mr. Orlando Zaragoza for his information. We thought we have met him in a past time like we have known him forever. We also met Miss Francheska who is a pharmaceutical who donates of her time to maintain the areas too. It was a beautiful day for all of us and will visit again and absolutely recommend . We came out like new and like feathers flying in the air. Greeeeeeat experience.
This beautiful architecture site it's a living representation of the modernist movement that influenced Puerto Rican architecture towards the end of the 19th century.
