We've converted the workshop into an outstanding sports facility that has everything you need for basic indoors training, and for planning and launching outdoor adventures into the surrounding nature by canoe, SUP, MTB, climbing, swimming, hiking etc. Find your nature – outside and inside.

The Stromfors Iron Works offers visitors the chance to enjoy relaxing holidays in a beautiful and historically significant environment. The old craftsmen tradition is still continued at the iron works. Life in the century-old area continues whilst maintaining old traditions. In addition to the museums and handicrafts shops, the area has restaurants and a cafes and holidayapartments.

Ruotsinpyhtään ruukki (also known as Strömfors bruk or Strömfors Iron Works) is a small but very idyllic old iron works village. It is situated in Ruotsinpyhtää (Strömfors), Loviisa. The iron works was founded in 1698. There is something for everybody in the iron works village: beautiful old buildings, two free museums, art galleries, cafeterias, restaurants, handicraft shops, other boutiques, the church of Ruotsinpyhtää (built in 1770), a sauna, massages, music therapy, a small swimming beach, a playground, Escape Room Strömfors, Kukuljärvi hiking trail, accommodation (Strömfors Bed & Bistro, also special honeymoon and pampering packages including manor accommodation, private sauna bathing, a candlelit dinner and professional photos) and many activities, e.g. canoeing, SUP boarding, forging experiments and indoor karting (kart racing). Fiskars Iron Works in Raasepori is bigger and more famous than Strömfors Iron Works. However, I love Strömfors Iron Works even more. This iron works isn't too crowded. We had one of our best summer days here!
