First time skiing at Snowbasin; it was fabulous. Skiing is as good, if not better, than any big resort in Utah (Snowbird, Park City, Canyons, Deer Valley, Brighton, etc). But the service and charm of Snowbasin tops them all. Wonderful terrain for beginners to expert. We loved the runs from the main gondola from top to bottom. There were green, blue, and black runs available. Ski shop is excellent and their rental equipment is top notch. Their lodges (bottom and upper) are probably the nicest I've ever been in and I've skied for 55 years in the US and Europe. The restrooms in the lodges are like a 5 Star hotel and they're super clean all the time. Reasonable accommodations and dining options are available le in Layton, Ut, about 30 minutes away. There are no accommodations at Snowbasin. Can't say enough about Snowbasin. Will definitely be back. It might now be my favorite resort.
