This 176-mile land and sea nature reserve is filled with Beaches and family fun and has played a major role in conservation of fish native to the Bahamas.
There are many wonderful spots to visit in the Exuma Cays Land and Sea Park. Warderick Wells is where the Park Headquarters are, and it's highlighted by a horseshoe shaped channel of exquisitely colored blue water, surrounded by Beaches and land outside the channel and a sandbar that uncovers at low tide in the center. To me, this is one of the most beautiful spots in a chain of Cays that is known for it's beauty.
There is plenty to do in Warderick Wells. One can hike, swim, kayak (loaner kayaks are provided by the Park), snorkel and explore the beautiful areas surrounding the Park. Mooring balls in the north field are the most coveted places to park your boat, as the scenery is breathtaking. If you are in the Exumas, you should not miss Warderick Wells, or many of the other amazing Park Cays and attractions.

The beach is just like a postcard with all these different shades of blue and green and it is a real pleasure to go for a walk on the sandbars at low tide. But be really careful on the beach itself as some drug addicts seem to like the spot too!!! we almost put our feet on an used needle!! really scary all the more as we are travelling with our 11-year-old daughter. But the landscape is worth the trip... so go but keep shoes on and eyes open!

Going to Chat-n-Chill beach is fun, but there are other Beaches to explore. Hike over the beach path to the Atlantic side. Waves are so much fun- and be sure to stop at the bench and take a picture at the top. Hamburger Beach is also great for seeing starfish!

Sandpiper Arts and Craft Boutique.A one stop shopping destination is located across from Peace & Plenty Hotel down town George Town. Visit Sandpiper for a unique Bahamian experience. Our selection of authentic Bahamian items reflects out heritage, passion and love for island life. Our gallery features 3 generations of Minns Family art, one of a kind collectable pottery by artist Jessica Minns. Bahamian products include Bahama Hand Prints, Androsia, Abaco Neem & more
Of the shops in George Town, Exuma, this is by far my favourite. There are some shops on the main drag near the grocery store, and this one is up the street a bit across from the Peace 'n' Plenty hotel. Sandpiper's selection is broader than the others, carrying more than just clothes, but books, pottery by the owner's daughter Jessica, vintage photographs, wind chimes, jewelry, some dining table items, cell phone cases, Caribbean themed Christmas ornaments, navigational maps, children's clothing and books, and lots more. It is also far more reasonably priced than the gift shop at the Sandals resort. It is the first place I go when I arrive on the island.

When we boarded TJ one of the staff on the board was asking my wife ‘what’s your name’ my wife did not respond, she felt uncomfortable because he decided to ask for her name out of 20 people on the boat. Then half way on board Darren who calls himself ‘sugar daddy’ decides to touch my wife while she is in my lap and said ‘are you ok’ my wife was shocked when she felt him touching her. I was very surprised by the attitude of the staff on boar and how they harass tourists. These guys have no respect for visitors neither did they address my wife and I together if were ok instead of going to touch my wife directly. They think we here in their land and now they can treat us which ever way they want especially being in the middle of the water. They ruined our trip and ruined everything we have worked for to come to the island. We saved for 3 years to come here and enjoy our time peacefully. These guys know that’s not acceptable behavior but they decided to treat us this way because we are tourists not locals. They assume that we don’t live here so if they do disrespect us they won’t see us again or have to deal with reprocutions.

Just south of Prime Island Meats on the left side of the road, is a nondescript hole in the vegetation leading to the most beautiful beach you can ever imagine!!! You must go see it to believe it!
