The Biophilia Center was full of information about wildlife, the ecosystem and what makes our forrest flourish! They provided great information about the damage that oil spills can cause and helped them identify different species in the water. He took this field trip in 4th grade and is now 17 and still raves about how exciting it was!

At any given time, we have over 350 animals on our picturesque 10-acre property, including dogs, cats, horses, birds, donkeys, goats, sheep, pigs, cows, bunnies, ducks and even emus! Individuals, families, and groups are all welcome to visit and learn what makes Alaqua special for animals and people.

Being a lover of animals, I was wowed by Alaqua. They accept all types of animals, and the care is top notch! I have volunteered as a dog walker and feel in love with so many sweet babies! It is a great place to go for the afternoon to visit a variety of animals....rabbits, goats, pigs, cows, birds, cats, dogs, and more! Good people doing great things!
