Dundonald (from Irish: Dún Dónaill, meaning "Dónall's stronghold") is a large settlement and civil parish in County Down. It lies east of Belfast and is often deemed to be a suburb of the city. It includes the large housing estate of Ballybeen, and the many new housing estates that have emerged in the last few years. John de Courcey established a keep including a motte and Bailey in the 12th century. This is now known as Moat Park and can be accessed from Church Green, Comber Road and the Upper Newtownards Road.

I just had my sons 7th birthday at clip and climb! 10 5-7yr olds - it’s was fantastic! Most of the kids had never climbed before so I was a bit worried but the all had a ball, the staff were always on hand to clip them off and on and I got a key to do it to! There was a great range of walls and all the kids were able to climb!! The kids climbed for 1 hr after half hour getting harnessed up and a short talk which they all enjoyed! The kids were wrecked after it!! I highly recommend this for a party, I’ll be back again next year! Something a bit different and with Macdonald’s on the way home it was the cheapest party I have ever had!! 5 stars - great staff, so friendly & great fun xx

Brand new escape rooms located in Belfast (Dundonald), do you and your team have the brain power, team work and problem solving skills to escape within the hour? Price dependent on number of participants taking part.
Houdini was a GREAT escape room with helpful room master, Jake giving us the right amount of clues. Really enjoyed going for my first trip there - will definitely be back. 10/10

We don't often go out for a movie but when we do, we drive past several decent cinemas to come here. Always clean, staff are friendly, IMAX screen is fantastic and there is a huge overflow carpark so you can always get a spot even when the neighbouring restaurants are busy

Absolutely fantastic day playing golf - love the fact this is outside and we chose to play 36 holes... took about 2.5 hours and rained most of the time but we still had great craic and will definitely go back. Social distancing was accomplished and staff were friendly and helpful. Talking totems and squirting water cannons really amused everyone and I’d definitely highly recommend to anyone with children. Cost £39 for 5 of us for 36 holes but you could choose 18 holes.
