Superb little micropub, friendly host, encourages conversation and music. Generally 3 different ales on rotation, an array of gins, wine, cider... often local produce. Snacks too and you can bring your own food in to enjoy a pint with. Dog friendly.

Lovely visit this afternoon with a friend to have late lunch and drink. Staff are very friendly and we had a lovely welcome and interaction with the staff. Food is very nice, wine and coffee good too. Thank you for an enjoyable afternoon.

Had dinner in the Red Lion last evening, what a great experience. Really well cooked good quality food and you could tell it was all freshly prepared. Friendly staff, lovely atmosphere and a Chef/Landlord who really knew his stuff. Well worth the few minutes extra drive past some of the more "average" places we usually end up in. Will be going again before too long that's for sure.
