This park offers magnificent views of the Mississippi river - however that's not different from any park high up on the bluffs - but there aren't that many of them in Wisconsin accessible to public and with amenities. Also, park includes awesome assemblage of the native American Mounds, including shapes that are very rare. For you nature lovers, the park itself is heavily forested, and also includes Dewey Heights Prairie State Natural Area that mostly straddles bunch of goat prairies on the bluff face. For added benefit, right below park is Stonefield Historic Village - Wisconsin historical site.

Well worth a trip to this Cassville Ferry. We crossed the beautiful Mississippi River from Iowa, saw Eagles and abandoned barges, and a tunnel that runs under the town of Cassville. Nice deck hand gave us a tour talk. Traveled along the Wisconsin side of the river to cross at Prairie du Chien. Stopped at unique Glen Haven bar on the Mississippi River for a beer and homemade Pizza. Wonderful day.
