This temple is very popular for its paintings. Inside the shrine there are lot of paintings. The Bo-tree is believed to be very powerful. So you can pray & request your wishes to be fulfilled. While traveling & passing the temple along 119 route Dehiwala-Maharagama, lot of people respect by standing & bowing. Popular among all communities. Crowd during weekends and Poya Days. Ample Parking space.

Lovely park with a walking and a cycling track that runs for about 3km in distance. Its located between Boralesgamuwa and Bellanvila area and there are entrances from both sides. It also has an outdoor food court offering a decent variety of food and beverages. The adjoining Weras lake provides some nice views too.
