The California Welcome Center in Anderson is beautiful. There are historical displays, information about camping, hiking, hotels, guide services, and much more! There is a small, but wonderful, gift shop inside. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and are California experts. Highly recommend stopping in for a visit when you are in the greater Redding, CA area!

My kids and I love this park. We usually go in by the soccer fields, and tennis courts. There's a playground for the little kids, a basketball court, baseball diamond, and lots of room to run through the grass. We tend to go there just after dinner, and it's almost abandoned. Always fun! We take our dogs (and clean up after them), to throw a frisbee. kick a ball, or just to have fun together.

Some good stops here. Clothing. Cinema. Restaurants. Fuel. GROCERY OUTLET. If anything, stop in at GROCERY OUTLET. Excellent wine and beer selection for unbelievably LOW prices. Also produce, deli meats, groceries, snacks, etc. I still can't believe the wine and beer prices.
