Visiting with Giuseppe in his beautiful workshop was a highlight of our trip. We enjoyed learning about his work restoring and designing ancient musical instruments and his theory on the development of music. We often thought of his lessons as we visited the archaeological sites in Sicily, especially the ceramics with paintings of musicians. Randazzo is also a very interesting town. Many of the houses and streets had small art installations. As you are a guest in Giuseppe's home, it is best to call for a reservation. He speaks perfect English. A delightful afternoon in Etna.

Una delle più grandi e antiche aziende vinicole dell'Etna, situata all'interno dei confini del Parco dell'Etna, racchiude al suo interno un vero gioiello naturalistico, un paradiso per chi ama la natura e il paesaggio, un sentiero natura che permette di poter visitare l'unica zona umida situata all'interno dei confini del Parco. Luogo di migrazione e di nidificazione per tante specie di uccelli, e habitat naturale di tante specie che vivono sull'Etna come la volpe, l'istrice, il gatto selvatico, la lince, il riccio, il coniglio selvatico, il rospo, la rana, la tartaruga di palude e tantissimi altri. In più l'Azienda Gurrida è da sempre rinomata per i suoi antichi vigneti sommersi e per i suoi vini ricercati.
