Our family has travelled to Lancaster since 1973...the magnificent building makes you feel like you are in the Middle East. This fall, we saw the most amazing production of Jesus that left us breathless! It was the most incredible experience watching this live production with so many characters and beautiful animals. We plan another trip to see Esther in early spring 2020...the plays leave you in a state of serenity and harmony. The productions merit a five star review for each play presented at this unique theatre. Looking forward to many more visits to the Sight and Sound Theatre in our favorite quaint town in Lancaster, PA

Great daytime farm experience for all ages! We went with a group and our young tour guide, Lizzie was very sweet & informative. We did the farm & garden tour & hayride where we got to feed & pet farm animals, milk a cow, learn about their upkeep, walk through & taste a garden of seasonal vegetables & personally drive a hayride drawn by horses. Highly recommend!

The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania is home to a world-class collection of more than 100 historic locomotives and railroad cars, an immersive education center, a vast library and archives and a working restoration shop. Special events, museum store, free on-site parking, free WiFi.
The Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania is a must see when out in Lancaster County! It's also a great tour on a hot day in the summer! It's a fascinating walk through time and to think about these enormous beauties at the height of their popularity. My husband is a train enthusiast so I enjoyed my own personal tour guide! Across the road is the Strasburg Railroad where tour rides are are available but we ran out of time. Definitely will be worth a return trip!

This farm offers the Maize Maze attraction in 10-foot-high corn stalks.
We had a great time at Cherry Crest. My toddlers loves the experience. They loved the petting zoo and wagon ride and the alpine slide and the pedal carts. They enjoyed the mini village, holding a chic and all the rest of the stuff. Its a great place for kids of all ages. They have many activities that are geared towards different age groups so everyone gets something fun to do. The staff are super nice and friendly and that makes the experience so much more pleasant! I would very much recommend families to go there and would love to visit again. Just one piece of advice- check the weather before going. We went on a very hot day (over 90 degrees fh) and I would not recommend anyone else to do so. There are lots of open fields and everything is outdoors. They do have two big fan mists that helped cool the kids but it was not enough to help with the heat. But my kids had a great time anyway!

Every time we visit we stop here every since we found this place several years ago. They have some of the best whoopie pies. I usually will buy a dozen to take home. I put them in the freezer then when I want one I just take it out. Also the homemade lemonade is great. You can buy a single serving or a quart. They sale a lot of different things like homemade root beer, cheeses, homemade chips, jellies, crafts, quilts, etc. I actually bought a quilt on this past visit. I have been going there so long I have seen the children grow over the years. They also have miniature horses you can find or get a ride on. They also have some goats to feed if you like as well.
