By purpose we chose to visit this place on Monday early morning and we were lucky that the road to drive up was closed and main crowds did not show up yet for this season. When going down around 1 p.m. we met something what felt like at least 200 people. If you like to enjoy nature without crowds of people around, chose good time to visit during the year. The place is amazing, rock creations are like nothing what we seen before. It stimulates imagination to see what can be hidden in those shapes. Kids and teenagers enjoy discovering narrow paths. If you are overweight you may have some problems there, the last part of a hike to get there is rather steep (if you do not chose to come by car almost to the top of this mountain). We purchased entry ticket on-line but so far it can only be done if you have Polish bank account. Cash is necessary to have with payments (entry ticket to see errand rocks and to access the top of the mountain by car). Magnificent place to visit, but still chose the right time as too crowded may not be so enjoyable. The hike in a forest was ok for us, not boring at all as we like nature and all the birds singing in the trees (we visited in the second part of June).

How very thoughtful to combine musical instruments with plants and flowers and design this kind of music garden.

This is a small late Baroque one-room chapel where a local priest in late 18th century had gathered thousands of skulls of victims of wars and epidemics from local graves. For such a macabre room the lighting and neatly arranged skulls and femurs give you interesting surreal feeling. This is actually an interesting place to show to children. The visit (latest is 1800 hrs) is for a small fee. A local nun speaks only Polish, but the room says it all. Only Mongol warrior's, giant's and syphilitic's skulls on the altar would need some explaining.
