Jessica Vergeer Studios is a studio, gallery and dress shop run by Parry Sound artist and fashion designer Jessica Vergeer. Her downtown Parry Sound location at 18 James Street showcases both her own paintings as well as selected work by other local artists and designers. When she's not busy making her own work, Jessica runs scheduled step-by-step painting classes at her studio. Jessica's dress shop features not only on her own fashion designs - which include hand-made dresses, skirts and tops - but also a selection of clothing, jewelry and accessories from other Canadian designers and fair trade sources. If you're a little more "hands-on" in your approach to art, be sure to ask about the public and private group painting classes that Jessica leads year round.

After tasting Norse Red at a local restaurant, we decided to stop in at Norse Brewery one day coming home from the cottage. What a gem we found! When we were invited to an annual Bier Garten (beer tasting) with family for non top 40 beers we knew what we had to bring. We brought a sampling of each of Norse's ales. There were over 100 different beers to taste at the beer tasting. Each year a winner is voted for. This year out of all those beers, Norse Red Ale WON "Beer of the Year"! We weren't surprised but we were happy to share your great ale with all our friends! Keep it up.

For almost 50 years, The Wolf Den has been the favourite stop for moccasins, native art & crafts, souvenirs and more. "Made in Canada" is our specialty!
If you are looking for Native and Canadian made items this is the place to shop. They have a great selection. We purchased a few things (pottery and Canadian made Buffalo leather wallet) The ladies are very knowledgeable and helpful. We have now placed an order online for some Moccasins for Christmas Gifts.
