'Slot Oostende' is a historic place, perhaps the earliest-built place of Goes. Beer is brewed again in Oostende Castle. The brewery brews modern and efficient, but based on tradition. This also applies to recipes and ingredients, for the purest barley, malt and hops.

The museum, which was formerly an orphanage, today covers three floors and presents a fascinating history of the islands of North and South Beveland. As you journey past the many different exhibits, you will learn about the local militia, you will find yourself in the middle of a drowned village, and you’ll discover the history of Goes from the stories of both orphans and Samplers. In the large attic (or Zeeuwse Meisje room), there is an exhibition of traditional local costumes. For children a special ‘treasure hunt’ has also been organised.

Omnium sport & recreatie is a multi-utility swimming and sports complex at a short walking distance from the historical Goes city center. Our public swimming pool has a range of recreational pools and water slides. Since 2014 the 'tropical forest' in a large greenhouse allows visitors to see, smell and often even taste tropical fruits, herbs and spices. The animals in the forest include parrots, fish, lizards, frogs and turtles.
