Great beer and appetizers - Death Irish was awesome. I can't wait to go back and try their other offerings.

Housed in the historic 1889 Cadwell Building, the Kittitas County Historical Museum features many exhibits for the public to enjoy, spanning the history of Kittitas County from the distant past to the modern day. Exhibit highlights include Native American beadwork and basketry; local pioneers and families; county-wide businesses; military service; farming; mining and logging; geological specimens; and much more. Organization founded in September 1961, and first museum opened May 1962. Moved to the Cadwell Building in 1974 and opened that location in June 1975.
We were surprised to find this spacious, well maintained museum in Ellensburg. Many of the exhibits are in glass cases which were spotless. Of special interest was the lighted neon sign exhibit, the linotype and other printing machines, and the geodes and blue agates. Well worth the time to visit this museum.

Wine tasting room for highly acclaimed Gard Vintners, also featuring wines by the glass, craft beer, artisan food, gifts, live music, events and more. Estate grown on the nearby Royal Slope of the Columbia Valley, with wines made by Aryn Morell at their Walla Walla facility. Also tasting rooms in Woodinville and Walla Walla.
Since my last review, I have visited the tasting room often (Maybe too often?). In addition to upscaling the facilities and decor, the wine is excellent and the management is very accommodating. A fine selection of wine is available for tasting and really interesting art work pleases the eye. A fine place to visit before going out to dinner.

We stopped in after walking around and we we immediately struck by the artwork on the walls. The environment was cozy and friendly with great seating in the back. The owners just happen to be artists of the artwork on the walls and we were able to purchase the collection while enjoying a very tasty pizza! Don’t miss out!
