Recently, I and my husband visited Hatu Peak. The peak is at 7 Km distance from Narkanda and located at an elevation of 3400 m above sea level. We decided to go there by our own car and I swear, this was the scariest ride I have ever had. The lane was so tiny, with sharp twists and turns, and cars have to brake and move aside or go back, again and again, to give space to other incoming cars. I was on the co-driver seat and had my heart in my mouth quite a few times. But the moment I reached the peak, I completely forgot how scared I was. The beauty on the top was captivating with unique views of snow-lined Himalayan ranges. Along with its mesmerizing beauty, Hatu Peak is also famous for the Hatu Mata temple, dedicated to Mandodari, the wife of Ravana. The return was easy as compared to going up to the peak. It was so great experiencing this paradise on earth and I would not think twice if I get a chance to go there again!

We had a nice family time while walking through the mall road & the ridge. It has everything, a family needs to have quality time together, good street food, variety of shops, horse riding, nice views for those cool selfies, those heritage buildings, cafes, bakeries etc. Best part is that vehicular movement is not allowed, that makes it even better to just walk around. The whole place is clean too, overall it's good to be there and just spend some time together.

Amazing place to capture pics. But you have to take into account the strong ray of sunlight that comes from that hillside. The landscape is simply majestic. The sunset time might be just perfect to witness the beauty of the place. Green lush trees and mountains behind that makes it a worthy place to stop and capture the moments. The Green Valley is a beautiful and breathtaking mountain range that falls on the way to Kufri from Shimla. This spectacular valley is God's gift to the wonderful and charming city of Shimla and is every tourists' answered prayer to being able to find a place bereft of pollution, constant traffic jams and incessant noise and din. The greenery and beauty of this place is so mesmerising that it make the tourist forget everything else and simply bask in the sheer joy of being in nature's lap

The foundation stone was laid in 1884 by Bishop Daniel Wilson and the church was consecrated on 10 January 1857 by Bishop Thomas Daltrey. It is built in the neo-Gothic style and is a prominent building on The Ridge. The clock was installed in the tower in 1860 and the porch erected in 1873. The original organ, since extensively renovated, was installed in 1899. Interesting to discover that Guy Gibson, leader of the Dambusters Raid in 1943, was christened here on 11/09/1918. The building is well maintained and you can admire the beauty of the stained glass windows from the interior. At night the building is illuminated. Christ Church is a lasting legacy of British rule and is now the only place of religious worship that Christians have in Shimla.
