The second time we have had the pleasure of staying at the Saltbush Retreat. We booked a Homestead Stable after such a wonderful experience the first time. The attention to detail of the decor is outstanding. The bed is comfortable and kitchen is equipped with everything you could need. Can't wait to visit again.

Rudest publican I’ve ever come across in a country town. No wonder there was only 3 people in the pub. Been here for 2 days.Thought it was a nice friendly town until I stopped here for a drink and pizza. Save yourself the trouble go somewhere else. Not even worth rating.

We are warmly welcome those who are looking for comfortable and good value accommodation for casual stay, as well as short term or long term stay, while providing friendly cooperation rental rate.
The whole place should have a start rating of 0. The whole place is dirty and looks no one has cleaned it in years. Outside my room there were broken and old furniture, old trollies and a lawn mower. The entrance is a block construction that looks like it had never been cleaned in its life. This place is a joke for the price i would never allow my worst enemy to stay there clean up your act Inland.

For a room costing appox $179 per night you are in a Donga / container and have to use a communal toilet and bathroom. Dirty conditions. None of this is explained in the ad and there is better value for money at accommodation in town. I strongly suggest considering other options.

This was the worst place we have ever stayed at! We were eventually moved from a 2 bedroom cabin for 2 nights to a motel room because the loo was blocked. The cabin was $330 a night and we were advised that we might be entitled to a refund -we didn’t expect this to happen and it hasn’t. At $330 a night we expected more than curtains hanging off the rails, one knife for four people, etc etc. The location was near the main drag but right by the pub so was noisy at night.

From the outside the building is very impressive. It is also impressive inside. Unfortunately the lunch menu does not live up to the first impression. The menu is very limited. My wife and I both had seafood basket. It was very ordinary. I think it was frozen from a food supplier and reheated. There was a large amount of chips. I bought a “pint” of Guinness. I think the pint was about 15 ounces and the stout was relatively flat. Overall, I was disappointed.
