This is a guest house,which opens a cooking class in night time. The fee: 2500yen(food and 3 cup of sake) ※We did this casual cooking class every night. Please message me until 3 pm in the day. 【location】 This house is located between Omichou-market and Higashichaya District (Geisha street). ・10 minutes by walk from Omichou market(Fish market) ・10 minutes by walk from Higashichaya District. Disappointing ryokan
Reviewed By Linda GAfter doing the paperwork and collecting our keys from a small hotel near the railway station, we checked in to our from at Tabi-Ne. We had made a booking for 4 nights at approximately $100 Australian per night. There were 4 rooms here, and ours was at the top of the stairs. After dragging our bags up the very steep staircase, we decided that the room was very small. The floor plan indicated some of the other rooms were larger, but not ours. Our main issue was the incredibly poor sleep quality. There were 3 windows in our room, one overlooking the staircase and the other 2 in the sliding doors into our room. They were covered with very thin rice paper, but with no curtains or blinds, so when other guests came in late at night, or went downstairs to the toilet, when they turned on the hall light it shone into our room, lighting it up like daylight. Several times through the night we had to get up, go out into the hallway and turn off the light. However, the worst part of the sleep quality was the terrible mattress. It was very bumpy, and the lumps were hard, making for poor sleeping conditions. So, we decided that our 4 night reservation was not doable, and we booked a hotel room. When we discussed that we were leaving with the staff, and spoke to the owner/manager on the phone, we were told that we would still have to pay 2 nights accommodation even though we only stayed 1 night. They refunded 2 nights onto our card.

This house is japanese traditional house. it’s built 50 years ago. You can see beautiful garden from your room. I live here with my husband, I’m looking forward to meet you and talk a lot with you. we love Kanazawa very much, we introduce to you our favorite restaurant and space. I hope you have a nice experience here, Kanazawa. 【About room】 Sleeping room is private room(there is a key) and kitchen/toilet/bath room is shared space. ※provided items※ ■About kitchen Fridge/Microwave/IH-cooker/Bowls/chopping board/kitchen knife/pot/seasoning(solt&oil&pepper)/cutlery/dishes/skillet back/pan/kettle/ladle ※there is basic cooking items because I live here and cook,too. ■About bath room Bath towels/Face towels/Shampoo/hair conditioner/Body soap /Hair dryer ※If you need nightware and toothbrush, you can buy in the house. Reviewed By Hélène AAccueil très sympathique par un jeune couple qui parle bien Anglais, ils sont toujours prêts à donner de bons conseils pour découvrir la ville ou se restaurer. Comme souvent dans les maisons traditionnelles japonaises il fait vite froid, nous étions contents d'avoir le chauffage dans la chambre. Il est très facile de tout faire à pied depuis la chambre d'hôtes si on est bon marcheur ou bien on prend le bus à 2 pas !

Quiet,cosy, and comfortable!

Imagine having 2 twin beds in a sort of a room separated from the TV room furnished with 2 chairs and a coffee table. Wow! It has a small kitchenette with a toilet separated from the shower room. The only downside is it’s a bit off the main road and access to the Kanazawa station is by taxi – not expensive for 1,000yen or less 1 way. The ladies minding the counter were friendly even though we did have some difficulties with communicating in English, we managed. I would highly recommend this place for any length of stay.
