Reviewed By Andoni31Because this normally are the living quarters of students you cannot expect much luxury: a bed, a desk and a simple shower and toilet, shared with the inhabitants of one other room. Ask for a room overlooking the city of Torshavn and you have a nice view towards the old harbour etc. (At the other side of the hotel the view is less interesting.) In about 15 minutes you walk down to the centre of Torshavn. The breakfast (buffet) is very good, and the personnel is very nice and informative.

Reviewed By Ewa KKristjanshavn is located near to the harbour in Midvagur. It’s close to the airport and bus stop. Rooms are clean and warm. Owner is very helpful and gives you a lot of privacy. We didn’t rent any car as it was easy to travel by bus. I really recommend Kristjanshavn.

Reviewed By Katalin LDieses nette, kleine B&B war die beste Wahl, die wir für unseren Aufenthalt auf Suduroy treffen konnten. Gut gelegen (in wenigen Minuten ist man zu Fuß im Ortskern von Vagur), mit schönem Blick zum Fjord und guten Parkmöglichkeiten direkt am Haus. Alles ist modern und hell, unser Zimmer war geräumig und stylish eingerichtet, nur das Waschbecken im Badbereich ist für den Wasserstrahl etwas zu klein geraten. Ansonsten alles top. Auch das Frühstück mit dem selbstgebackenem Brot war super lecker und die Eigentümerin, sowie auch ihre Mitarbeiterinnen waren sehr freundlich, so dass man sich fast schon familiär aufgehoben fühlte. Ein tolles Guesthouse mit viel positiver Energie.

Reviewed By Axell33The house and rooms are lovely and comfortable and the host is welcoming and full of local knowledge. Having said that this place was not for us. It doesn't mean its a bad place to stay, far from it its lovely, it just not for us. Every time we returned we would have to remove our boots, which i totally respect for the house and did every time but it didn't make things comfortable. A couple of times we were only back for 5 minutes to grab something and make a quick coffee but it took longer to remove my boots and get them back on. Also there was mention of locking the doors at 10pm or something which in all honesty we didn't follow up because we weren't planning on going out that night, but sometimes we like to go out for a walk during the night to take some night pictures or simply just soaking in the night atmosphere of a different place. To be honest we also are not big on shared bathrooms this just confirmed it. Once again this doesn't make this a bad place to stay but we don't travel to have restrictions put on me by my accommodation. Each and everyone of them we understand the reason behind it and agree with it, its just not our type of accommodation.

Reviewed By TrMarekThey really made us feel welcome & helped with travel tips and suggestions. I really liked that there was a kettle in our room. Small kitchen space outside our room was ideal for cooking dinner & having breakfast.

Mala persona en una isla encantadora
Reviewed By susana aAcabo de llegar de las islas Feroe. Una maravilla. Pero he tenido mala suerte con el tiempo. De las tres semanas que he ido, dos con intensa niebla. No he podido disfrutar de Sudoroy, Mykines, pese a haber ido. Ni viajar en helicóptero. Pues fue cancelado tres veces. El caso que ya casi al final del viaje, logré viajar a Mykines, pero debía quedarme a dormir. No soy joven e iba sola y no quería quedarme en la intemperie. Por lo que mande varios emails a este lugar. No se me respondió. Al llegar a la isla, me encontré con la dueña de este lugar y le pregunté si sabia donde podía dormir en la isla. Yo no sabía todavía que era la dueña. Ella si sabría quien era yo, pues en los mails decía características mías y a esas horas era la única turista que había en la isla. El caso es que junto a un amigo suyo, pintor, se estuvieron burlando, riendo de mi. Me dijo que sí tenia ella alojamiento en su casa. Cuando le dije que me lo mostrara, dijo que estaba cerrada su casa. En ese momento estábamos en la calle. Pasaron las horas, yo angustiada. Ella también me había dicho que durmiera en la guest house. Le dije que no pues no estaba limpia. Al final pregunté a varios lugareños y me dijeron que ella tenia alojamiento. Era ya muy tarde y me acogió. De muy malos modos. Y sin dirigirme la palabra en la cena, ni ella ni su amigo pintor. Cuando fui a la habitación y analice los emails es cuando me entere que fue a ella a la que se los envie. A la mañana siguiente le dije que como no me contestó. Me dijo que estaba por ahí, y que al fin y al cabo me había alojado allí. Me cobro equivalente a 130 euros. Ella es sádica, mala persona. Se ve que ODIAN a los turistas. Me he he llevado una mala imagen de las islas por esta MALA persona.
