We went on a Monday morning and there were just two other people there. There were two pools open, one warmer than the other. It was very relaxing to be in the hot water surrounded by trees, plants, and hummingbirds. The water tasted salty and acidic, but not sulfurous. There was an onsite restaurant that served lunch. Showers were very cold and we were asked to shower before and after soaking in the pools. It was very clean and the water was extremely clear. All in all very nice.

Termales del Ruiz is a natural reserve located at 3500 meters above sea level. In the reserve our visitors find a Hot Springs pool just aside of the main house. The water is coming directly from the mountain to the pool. In the reserve there are unique and beautiful landscapes accompanied by diverse Wildlife, more than 69 species of birds of which 1 are endemic and 5 almost endemic. Different trails are available for visitors to discover the nature of the region. Termales del Ruiz is located in the surroundings of the National Natural Park Los Nevados.

The place was absolutely amazing, it had a magnificent view and it was surrounded by nature. We are a family of four (with two teenagers) and we consider the room was not big enough for us to be comfortable. The staff friendly and the food was good and fast.
