Chesterfield is a market town and borough in Derbyshire, England. It lies 24 miles (39 km) north of Derby and 11 miles (18 km) south of Sheffield at the confluence of the rivers Rother and Hipper. Including Whittington, Brimington and Staveley it had a population of about 103,800 in 2011, making it the second largest town in the ceremonial county after Derby. Archaeologists trace it back to a Roman fort built in the 1st century AD, but soon abandoned. Later an Anglo-Saxon village developed. The name derives from the Old English ceaster (a Roman fort) and feld (grazing land). It has a street market of some 250 stalls three days a week. The town sits on a coalfield, which was economically important until the 1980s. Little visual evidence of mining remains. The best-known landmark is the Church of St Mary and All Saints with its crooked spire, originally built in the 14th century.

Hotpod yoga offer a vinyasa style of yoga in our immersive, inflatable, cocooned like pods heated to 37 degrees. Our classes are designed to work the body and calm the mind. It will get your heart pounding, sweat dripping and leave you in a blissful state of calm.
The ambiance of the pod is perfect for an experience away from the stresses of everyday life and a brilliant work out. The warmth and essential oil fragrances help you to relax, warm up and stretch deeper, as well as working up a sweat, if you choose to. You can work as hard or easy as you want to, because options are provided in every class. Amy and her team are dedicated and imaginative instructors. No special equipment is required. You can use a large towel to put on the mats provided in the pod, a small one to mop the sweat and a bottle of water. You can buy a non-slip hot pod mat there as yoga - related merchandise is also available at competitive prices. Coconut water is available to buy from the fridge too. The whole experience is brilliant and amazing value for money. I recommend a visit to Hotpod Yoga at Chesterfield as part of your New Year resolutions. .

I am a multi award-winning, certified life coach, mentor and sports therapist. I’ve had my own shares of ups and downs, but over the years I have found solutions to overcome challenges and obstacles in my life and discovered how to live my best life along the way. I believe that every person can become the best version of themselves, if they have the correct support and guidance.
Just had a mind blowing and physically amazing massage with Carolyn, drifted away into dream land, just perfection and highly recommended, I’m not sure that there is anyone better, trust me!

I booked for myself and two friends to come and have a couple of treatments and lunch, after booking I read the reviews, it was to late to do anything and I am glad I did not cancel. OK its not a spa, these facilities were closed and the salon messaged me to let me know in advance and I was given the option of cancelling or having a voucher, Well all was arranged and off we went, Its an old building so its not all glitz and glamour but it was a lot better than the reviews I had read. We were greeted very well and offered complimentary drinks while we filled in forms, All the staff were very friendly. I had the best massage I have ever had ( and being a trained massage therapist I know a good one) then a wonderful facial. The room was clean and tidy and soothing music playing. My friends had pedicures and one had indian head massage the other a facial and both were very happy with their treatments, Then we went for lunch which was delicious. The staff there were very friendly as well. So glad we went and would go again, Thanks to all of the staff for looking after us.
