Flowerpot Island Lighthouse

Reviewed By punkbeech - Toronto, Canada

My wife and I went for a trip here in the summer and stop at one of the local restaurants for lunch and then off to flower pot island. Well worth the trip here! Flower pot island was really nice to see and hike. We only came up for the day and thought we might stay for the night if we liked it, but unfortunately this is a really busy place during the summer and everything was booked up. So we later decided to comeback with our son and his girlfriend at the end of month and spend the night. This is a cool little town to visit and take the boat tours and visit flower pot island. Absolutely beautiful clear water with great tours to go on. But don’t let the colour of the water fool you it’s extremely cold! Make sure you Book your tours and hotel in advance if your thinking of visiting here

The Grotto

The Grotto, in Bruce Peninsula National Park, is one of the top tourism attractions in Ontario. A shoreline sea cave with the beautiful blue waters, the Grotto is a unique natural wonder and memorable place to experience. It is also a very popular and busy location, especially during the peak season of July and August and on long weekends. At those times, the parking lot will fill up and you may not be able to access the Grotto.

Nature at its best ! Go early (8am in Fall) as limited parking passes are given for access to the grotto and Indian Head Cove from 8-12; 12-4; 4-8 Going early also allows you to enjoy the place without the crowds. The Georgian Bay Hike is the easiest way to get there from the parking spot -take the trail on the left of the information boards Views at the Grotto and the Indian Head Cove are breathtaking. Proper footwear advisable as it is rocky terrain and can get slippery after a rain. We look the Horse Lake Trail back -this is a challenging Trail and so worth it for the views! It is well marked but make sure you understand what the symbols mean to avoid getting lost

Big Tub Lighthouse

Reviewed By 810sundaresans - Coimbatore, India

While the lighthouse looks majestic, the views around the lighthouse are splendid. Take a few steps and you can dip your feet in the fresh cold crystal clear waters. Definitely one of the best instagrammable spots. Parking is limited and it's paid. Not stroller friendly as the path to the lighthouse is kinda rocky. Can definitely spend 30 to 45 minutes here.

St. Edmund's Anglican Church

We are one of seven churches which make up the Lutheran and Anglican Ministries of the Bruce Peninsula. We are a vibrant congregation! On a Sunday morning during the summer you would normally see around 30-40 people in worship. During the fall, winter, and spring months, you would find 12-16 people in worship. During these months our worship time changes to 2:00 PM. We are passionate about sharing the love of God, creating healthy community, and engaging issues in our world in light of our faith. We are currently working on a welcome wagon project with our other churches. We also provide regular ministries to our community of Tobermory like: weekly community Bible Study and Meditation Group, as well as a free community meal for seniors at the seniors apartments. We invite you to come and worship with us. Be a part of our community. No matter who are you or where you're from, we're glad you're our neighbour and you're welcome here.
