Casa de los Caracoles

Ever wondered how a house covered in seashells by the sea shore would look? Well look no further than Barrio Playa in Salinas. The home belongs to Don Ovidio "Jimmy" Berrios Santiago, who, after his retirement, decided to make his dream of lining his house with "caracoles" come true. Not only is his living quarter fully decorated with shells, but so is his car! In total, the amount of seashells used in this project sums up to over a million.
