A proper art gallery, not a cluttered up gift shop. The gallery is home to fine art photography by Robert Haspel. A wide variety of subject matter and style is displayed. Robert is a long time (old) photographer that enjoys sharing his work. Sales are secondary, so feel free to visit. Please check out the reviews . . . NOTE: I am a one man show, and for the most part, open daily. Periodically I am away, and the gallery is therefore closed. It's the nature of running a small town business.
I was staying in Fort Davis for a "mini" respite when I saw the big "Gallery" banner off the main road and thought I would take a quick look. Well needless to stay, I was in awe of the beauty, articulation, visual processing and thought as well as meaning behind ALL of his photographs. I couldn't help but buy one ( a photo of one of the horses from his trip to Cuba). I was honored to meet Mr. Haspel who has such a vast, wordly experience and enjoyed having a lengthy conversation about his travels and world views. Very refreshing and again, absolutely stunning work and beautiful gallery...a hidden gem. A must visit!!
