Come play with clay and discover your inner potter! Founded in 2015 by artist Imogen Charleston, Moon Studio is situated in a converted barn, nestled between The New Forest and Avon Beach, on the outskirts of Christchurch, Dorset. Here, Imogen teaches a variety of pottery classes to suit all ages and abilities. From taster sessions to short courses, and workshops for children and families. You can also book as a group for a special occasion such as a hen do or birthday party. All aspects of pottery covered including wheel throwing, sculpture, glazing and more.
Spent a lovely relaxed day at Moon Studio Ceramics, with a fantastic tutor who helped us novices along with the challenges that come with working with clay. Great idea for a birthday gift, or a treat for yourself! Will hope to go again one day! The end creations are unique and although slightly quirky will have pride of place in my kitchen!!

We offer a quirky range of fair trade gifts, homeware, cards, stationary, jewellery and Fairtrade food lines, including organic and vegan.
Everytime we visit Christchurch, we pay a shopping visit at Mundo. All items are ethically sourced and unique. Reasonably priced and the staff are lovely. This was our 3rd visit to Mundo and it never disappoints. Definitely recommend this shop. ????????

Gin Discovery Evening - Birthday Present What a great evening ! Had no preconceived ideas of what the evening had to offer so on arrival in Christchurch High Street, I was really pleasantly surprised......what a great shop selling a fantastic selection of specialist chocolates, biscuit, sweets etc......and a marvellous selection of artesian Gins !! A very warm welcome extended to everyone by Lloyd and Sally the owners, kicking off with a mystery Gin, I won't spoil the fun by revealing the secret, needless to say it was a great introduction to what was a super evening trying 8 specially selected Gins.....we loved it ! Lloyd and Sally put on a good show, the history of Gin fantastic and the selection available superb. Met a number of really nice people who we didn't know (all Gin fans), great fun trying the Gin and mixers. Had no idea of the history of how the Gin craze started, we do now and all thanks to Lloyd and Sally. We ended the evening buying two specialist Gins that we tried, but there's so so many on offer and with expert help at hand you won't end up buying something you don't like. If you enjoy Gin, an evening with Lloyd and Sally an absolute must, BRILLIANT......will be telling friends to visit. A taxi home essential, loved the evening. Many thanks Fantastic that you are making the High Street special, always keen to support local businesses in these challenging times. All the best, see you again.......once we are done with the 2 bottles purchased ! Best Julian & Amanda

Hatch Gallery is based in the beautiful harbour town of Christchurch, close to the Priory. We specialise in Contemporary Paintings and Sculpture from local and more nationally known artists. We also provide a space for young and emerging artists to showcase their work to the public, often for the first time. We are a bustling, welcoming gallery that always has something new going on from craft workshops to artist talks; from local crafts to fine art. All welcome!
