The tour includes a ride in the firm illustrating all the varietiese of the herbs and possible using.
I recently returned from Sicily. Visiting this herb farm was a highlight, especially with Enrico as truly entertaining and knowledgeable as he is and Rita as delightful a person and excellent cook as she is. The farm is a work in progress, one which they have great plans to keep expanding, on its way to becoming a destination place to stay, while enjoying the view and the aromatic herbs. Well worth visiting. Grazie, Enrico and Rita

Sicily Horse Tours is an association created in the aim to promote equestrian tourism in Sicily. We organize short tours and long trekkings.
I highly recommend this place. Luciano and Marialuisa were extremely welcoming hosts, and even if now due to COVID we had to keep safe distance, all went well and I felt very welcomed. They were very responsive over the phone, prepared everything for the trips before and after the excursions, and were good company. The horses seem to be taken care of in a good way, and they behaved pleasantly and calmly at all times. I made two excursions, one of 5 hours “La terrazza sulle Eolie”, which took us all the way up to Pollina, a picturesque rural town on top of a high hill, where we made a small stop to enjoy the view and get an ice cream together. Another tour I did was through vineyards (2 hrs) which was equally pleasant. I have lived in Sicily and travelled around quite extensively, but the views seen from our routes were still breathtaking! Small tip on getting there: from Cefalù the easiest and fastest way to get there is by following the SS286 until at the left-hand side there is an exit directly to the gate of Tenuta Luogomarchese (the agriturismo affiliated with SicilyHorseTours). Then the way will take you 15-20min. Don’t take the rural road via Sant’Anastasia, as Google Maps will probably tell you - while that one is very scenic as you navigate between vineyards, the road is narrow and it takes you about 15-20 min longer. Luciano and Marialuisa, grazie mille and I cannot wait to come back in the future!

Our farm is near the lake of Piana degli Albanesi, little beautiful country 25 minutes far from Palermo. We have several funny animals and you can ride our horses across the woods and love the amazing view. Is a special place into the wild nature for very special moments.
