If you're lucky enough to discover Aspetuck Brew Labs in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, you won't be disappointed. First and foremost, their beer is outstanding, top-notch, second to none. Regardless of the style (IPA, Sour, Stout,etc.), anything which you try there will be delicious although his area of expertise seems to be beers w/ high ABV's that are easy to drink, a skill that speaks for itself. The atmosphere & flavor of the taproom is fantastic, & the only thing that may be better than the beer itself is the wonderful folks who work there that make you feel welcome from the get go. Pete & his staff have created a unique craftbrew establishment that is the best possible example of where the world of microbrews has evolved to in the modern era. I always bring home either a growler, a growlito, or some cans of his beer to turn on friends back home in New York. They are routinely impressed w/the taste/quality of his product, even if they are not sophisticated beer drinkers. Invariably, I always run into another brewer from Ct. or somewhere in New England when I'm there. What bigger compliment than the fact that knowledgeable people who are also brewers come to visit Aspetuck to talk shop as well as to quaff his delicious product. "Nuff said!

Took the wife here on a date night. We bought the Date Night package (awesome deal) which came with two tickets, a bottle of wine, two entrees and a dessert. For $100, it was a very good deal. The show was mc’d by resident comedian and wonderfully talented Sam Hunter. The stars that evening were Paul House and Dan Cummings, both of whom had killer sets. The food comes from Harlan Haus next door and is very good plus reasonably priced. The drinks were also a bargain and my wife said that the vodka cranberry was generously strong. This venue just opened 9 months ago and I can already tell that it’s going to be a huge hit. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can’t wait to come back. They have a constant set of great rotating talent and the venue is very well organized. We highly recommend for a good time, a great show at a value and a very special night out!
