What a stunning area of natural beauty We drove first to the Gardens which has a look out and some walking trails so you can get close to the red rocks for photo opportunities It gets a bit windy along this coast so bring a jumper. Beautiful scenery with the contrast of the red rocks with the white sand and deep blue sea. We then drove back to Bingalong for some more photo opportunities

The St Helens Mountain Bike Trails are some of the most scenic trails in the world- where else in the world can you ride Mountains to the Sea, ending your ride in one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, the Bay of Fires. You will find a series of stacked loops just south of St Helens Township and an epic 42km wilderness trail that starts on the Blue Tier and finishes in the Bay of Fires.
We are frequent visitors to the St Helens Mtb Trails and this weekend we had over 30 of our Crank Addicts friends join us for a weekend of thrills and spills! With such a variety of trails we found something to suit everyone. Green trails are safe and predictable - great for kids and beginner riders. The blue trails - such as Rock Lobster and Wedged In (and See Ya Later) - were great for more adventurous riders with a nice climb to begin with, ending in super fun down hill riding. For the more experienced riders, the new black trails, Send Helens and Icarus, are super fun. These trails start at the top of the Loila Tier - a quick shuttle ride to the top with Gravity Isle will have you on the trails in no time. Gravity Isle are super helpful and friendly - providing various shuttle pass options.

We loved this place! The keepers passion for the reptiles came through in the beautiful displays and great information and handling. Couldnt recommend this place enough!

on our trip up the east coast in January of this year, we stopped at Binalong Bay and the Bay of Fires before our overnight stay in St Helens. the rocks at Bay of Fires are beautiful, with the "fire coloured" algae on the rocks. also lovely to see all the protected birds nesting and feeding here. luckily it was a sunny day as it was VERY VERY windy!

The whole area has many campgrounds and places for day activities. Yet there is virtually no one there. Very easy to find amazing beaches, vistas, headlands with no one else around.
