One of the most historic cities in America, Philadelphia is an ideal place to spend a weekend - preferably a long one. Be sure to see the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall, where the Constitution and Declaration of Independence were signed. Both are part of Independence National Historic Park. Philadelphia also boasts some outstanding art museums, including the Rodin Museum. The Franklin Institute Science Museum is one of many area attractions honoring the life and work of Benjamin Franklin, the city's most famous ambassador. After digesting all of that history, be sure you save room for a classic Philly cheese steak sandwich.

The Ritz theaters were my absolute favorite venues to watch fine quality independent, artsy and foreign films, when I lived in Philadelphia, often patronizing them twice monthly. The theater is comfortable, it’s easy to negotiate the seating plan, quality projection and sound and outstanding personal service from the staff. In addition, there is a good selection of concessions and delicious popcorn served with real butter! Also, patrons are civil and considerate of one another with no cell phone use or conversation during the film. Unfortunately, the chain has lost its Bourse location, but Philadelphia film community are still fortunate to have two old city locations! Very Highly Recommended!

From Steven Spielberg, DreamWorks Animation, Universal Parks and Resorts and Comcast Labs, this free, cinematic experience explores the power of ideas. The inspiring program, “The Power of I”, is presented in a 360-degree dome theater in the Comcast Technology Center lobby. The show is wheelchair accessible and service-animal friendly, and audio and Closed Captioning devices are available.
This Universal Sphere is an enjoyable experience for all ages! You have to stop in the Comcast Center at 18th and Arch to see this. I felt like it was a piece of Disney here in Philly. I love the children who tell a great story during the experience. You have to see this and you will see what I mean. Ask for Marc when you go as he is a very good guide.
