A pretty good hotel for the price
Reviewed By chrish172016The hotel feels old, but staff does their best to keep it clean and treats guests well. The air conditioner is too noisy and you can hear your neighbors plumbing, but I think all this relates to the age of the hotel. It’s clean and pretty good for an overnight stay

Good for 1 night stay
Reviewed By AWood1216This was a good place to spend 1 night. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows. Microfridge present. WiFi was fast with numerous connections available. Small to-go breakfast available (still no continental due to Covid... Seems like most hotels are a bit past that). Carpet was replaced with vinyl plank, which I find much cleaner. Fixtures and furnishings were worn, but mostly functional. 2 concerns warranting star deduction: It had been in the 90s all day, and the AC was off when I checked in... At 9:30pm. While the AC was cold, it took several hours to cool the room down. Please turn the AC on for rooms you plan to rent out. Also, the sink fixture did not stick out far enough over the sink basin to easily wash hands or brush teeth. As a side note, I always find it a bit concerning when hotels have a stated "no refunds within x minutes of check-in" policy. If you have to have such a policy, it makes me wonder how many guests have demanded refunds and second guess my stay. Nothing at this hotel warranted demanding a refund for my reservation (and I have had to do that once or twice over the years), but you may reconsider having me sign for this policy at check-in.

His small dog came out to greet us and let me pet him/her - we let owner know we have our dog with us and he saw our dog and like her. Room was clean when coming in, has a king bed - sho wer stall bathroom was clean - big chairs and a table - tv stand, fridge n microwave, only door knob lock. Not much places to take your dog to do her business, quiet side of town - traffic wasn't to loud, slept good - But the 10am check out?? Feels like when check out comes its like "get up, bathe get dress and get out" type of feeling - we stayed in hotels with 11a check out and 12n check out but 10a check out is kinda sorta early especially if your check in is late. It was a nice stay with friendly owner.

Way overpriced for what you get
Reviewed By susansW6402SDNight clerk unhelpful to say the least. Room smelled like a sewer because the wax seal on toilet was leaking. Maintenance took no pride in their work and left a messy job in the bathroom prior to our arrival. Morning desk clerk was nice and understanding

Reviewed By HarleypackerLast time I was there, air conditioner was on the fritz. This time all was good. Good stay at a a decent price, nothing special, but was clean and comfortable. Front desk has always been good, and rooms have always been sufficient, nothing special, but workable.

Great sleep!
Reviewed By LoisFlintNewly remodeled rooms. Very comfortable beds. Soft sheets. Very clean. Delicious coffee in the lobby. The friendly and caring staff checked with me to see if the room was satisfactory. Laundry facilities, microwave, and vending machines are in the lobby. No refrigerator or microwave are in the rooms.
