Sting ray city was a lot of fun and gave a lot of information about sting rays. Captain Chester was very friendly and made our trip memorable! I would recommend this attraction!

Posh resort catering to yacht lovers and fishermen.
Stayed here for 6 nights . Should have been 7 but our flight was cancelled due to bad weather and we came luckily the day after. Big game is good to stay at. Rooms good , exterior needs a little tidying up but on the whole good to stay here. Dive centre on site just 100 mts from the roms and restaurant. Its not cheap to stay here , food is expensive and service can be slow but is worth the wait. Large portions . there is an 18% gratuaity and 12 % tax added to your bill. Great for diving, fishing or if you have a boat if not this palce may not be for you.Out of the resort not much apart from the Hilton top of the island.

The Marina Emerald Bay was great! Great slips for our boat, great service (especially Ericka!). We also had access to a rental car delivered and picked up for us! AND - you have access to the Grand Isle Resort - a beautiful resort, palapa restaurant, Spa (Latrevia was a great massage Therapist!). Kevin at the beach, Emmerson at the pool, Tyrone at the Restaurant, all great! A great bonfire on Friday nights! Loved it!!

Freeport is a small island, it’s not Nassau’s. We did our 2nd day here on carnival liberty . We booked the all inclusive day at the beach. It started with a 20 min bus ride with a tour of the city. Yes it was hit by a hurricane but only some places we seen were affected. People will say that they don’t like it . . Well those are the people that hang around at the port: it is small there’s only a handful of shops and restaurants you have to venture inward to get to the beaches. Personally I liked the people of Freeport better than the more touristy islands. They were so nice , welcoming and friendly. For the most part all the Bahamian people were friendly at each port but the people of Freeport really made us feel welcome. My son is autistic so he is in a very big bulky push chair.. no one batted an eye and everyone was helpful. The beach had authentic lunch , unlimited drinks, and activities . They brought the drinks to your chair and had an open bar. The water was blue , sand was white , the sun was shining and it was amazing ! Well worth the money and that excursion was very affordable . This beach did have the cheaper life vests available to use if your child has their own bring them. Their gift shops take cash or credit cards. I suggest you travel with an open mind ready to embrace culture, and enjoy the beach . You will be bored if you just sit at the port at the stores and restaurants. Our tourism is the bread and butter of these islands . They can’t recover from hurricanes without our continued visits . They did a great job cleaning things up. The Bahamian people really take care of you when you visit their islands and I fell in love with the Bahamas and will continue to visit.
