What a wonderful place to stay. Location is very convenient to walk to downtown Wolfville as well as several Farmer’s Markets. The rooms seem to be recently renovated and they are working on the outside and grounds. We ran into the owner, Ahmed , one evening who told us they just finished a new patio area with a fireplace - was beautiful- and he was very friendly and genuinely seemed thankful we chose his place to stay. We were in the Sunrise Suite, which seems isolated from the rest of the units ( a nice benefit) and was spacious, comfortable with a huge, beautiful bathroom. I got lots of use out of the wonderful spa tub. There were lots of choices for your included breakfast which were always delivered to the room at the time requested There were a few “blips” that were quickly rectified as all you had to do was ask (we had no hairdryer but when we mentioned it they went out and bought a new one - as well our breakfast tray was still in our room when we returned late in the evening the first day but after asking they apologized they forgot to tell us to leave it outside as they won’t enter your room if you’re not there). The tread on the outside stairs going up to the suite we’re almost all gone and the screen on the outside door was ripped with holes but as I stated they are in the process of fixing the outside issues - it appears they concentrated first on renovating the rooms inside which was smart. The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful - a special thank you to Ashley, Maria and the Manager, Mike. We will definitely be returning.

Very nice facility within easy walking distance from Acadia. The room was well supplied with amenities. Excellent location for dining in Wolfville. The absence of a traditional front desk wasn't at all a problem.

The Inn in itself is actually quite nice with a nice restaurant and nice pool area. The restaurant offers a very good dinner but I would definitely skip breakfast. Our major problem with our stay was dealing with bugs, we found silverfish and ants during our stay everyday. There was also a very humid and moldy smell in the room. Their only solution was to move us to another room, we declined since we weren't staying for long enough to repack everything and unpack again. It was their only solution available, no monetary compensation or asking us what we would've liked. The person at the lobby didn't really seem receptive to our demands and just seemed not interested in making us happy. Overall, a good inn but try to avoid staying on the ground level and don't expect much from the lobby service.

The Inn is housed in a 1902 building, complete with squeaky floors, wavy glass windows and original radiators. Decorated with vintage and modern art, it is a true visual feast. Located in a quiet neighborhood it is only one short block to the center of Wolfville. Morning coffee and fresh donuts at your door then breakfast is served in our dining room.
We escaped the big city (Dartmouth) to enjoy the Valley with its incredible November weather. Decided to try Locust & Starr. It is a historic house nestled in a quiet neighbourhood close to everything--closer than any other lodgings as far as we could tell. Very eclectic decor--a mix of art and kitsch, natural history objects and antiques. Our room was large with a separate sitting area. Very comfy and very clean. Wooden ironing boards were the bedside tables! Pennants festooned the 4 poster King bed. You have to see it to believe it. Lisa is a gracious host. She had 2 local beers waiting for us in our room when we checked in. Awesome breakfast, 2 freshly made Binky's do-nuts (which we took with us), fruit, granola, eggs, toast. Great coffee (a "Canadiano" according to my husband) and my loose-leaf tea was served in a pot with a china cup and saucer, classy. Lisa's whippet is quiet and well-behaved. We will return!

Casual Elegance in a Historic Setting. Located on Main Street in picturesque Wolfville, Nova Scotia. The Inn is a short distance from Acadia University and downtown area restaurants, shops and galleries. Featuring 14 rooms with private ensuite bathrooms on an acre and a half of manicured grounds to enjoy.
Attractive property both inside and out; onsite parking; warm welcome from owner upon checking-in; very clean and comfortable rooms; excellent freshly-prepared breakfast with a variety of choices. As it had come highly-recommended, would have liked to dine at this facility but no opportunity as the dining room was closed on the day of visit.

This charming B&B was the perfect addition to our vacation. The hosts were amazing, their residence is beautiful and the location is purely picturesque. They were very friendly and inviting, offering suggestions for meals, cocktails and running locations which added so much value to the experience. They have truly thought of everything- chilled water in the room (in a small wine fridge, in case you want to chill a bottle or two while visiting), wine and water glasses in the room, the SOFTEST bath robes, and amazingly comfortable beds. There was coffee available anytime with plate of fresh cookies and Neil’s breakfast was phenomenal. I can’t recommend the Stella Rose enough-you must stay here!
