Pleasantly surprised
Reviewed By Lisa CI have never stayed in a Candlewood Suites facility, and I was pleased with the room amenities. There is a full size refrigerator, a sink, dishwasher, and two burners. They offer access to a grill outdoors. There is not really a difference in prices with other comparable facilities. I was very surprised to discover that there was not a luggage rack in the room, and that they do not offer breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if I were ever in the area again.

The complenetary breakfast was great, good selection and everything was fresh. I had a really plesant stay, would go back if I'm ever in the Wake Forest area.

All rooms include a 32 LCD TV with digital cable, complimentary internet access, coffeemaker, iron and ironing board, hairdryer, and upgraded rooms include a mini-fridge and microwave.
I was lied to twice - Do not stay here.
Reviewed By johnkU998PWI have stayed here many times over the years and put up with a lot since it was a Sleep Inn. This time last weekend they put us on the ground floor - which is odd - they have always put me on the 3rd floor. The room they put us in didn't have a functioning window shade - it was broken - and we were on the front side of the building where all the lights are - I talked to the manager and showed him the issue and he said he would bring me a cover to cover the window - (1st lie) he never showed up - the whole room was lit up all night long - didn't get a good night of sleep and we were able to move the next day. I was told that I would get a 50% discount off of the 1st night for the issue with the blackout curtain not working. (2nd lie) that never happened... There are other better hotels not far from this one - I will not stay here again. Especially with their prices being increased to more than the other major chains.

Worth the money
Reviewed By Rima BThis did not look like a Fairfield Inn but rather at least a Courtyard Marriott. They must have recently renovated and the hotel looks beautiful. The mattress was one of the best hotel mattresses I have used and it really was great. Taylor at the front office was very nice and I do recommend this hotel for people visiting the area.

Reviewed By R2206MGmarymWe were met at the door by the Owner, Ms. Akari. She was wonderful in explaining all of the amenities. Our room was incredible and the en suite bath was wonderful. We had a coffee machine outside out room, a large comfortable sitting are out side of room. I can hardly wait until our next trip to that area. It is located ina historical area and that just added to the charm.
